Dana Emold, MS LPC CSAC
Dana provides an individualized focus to help provide a positive therapeutic experience tailored to each client. Dana’s integrative approach implements aspects of cognitive-behavioral therapy and rational emotive therapy. Dana works with her clients to help instill a greater sense of control over their lives, in a pragmatic and non-judgmental setting. Dana has experience in helping clients manage through major life transitions (ie: birth of child, divorce) and crisis management. Her specialties include substance dependence disorders, relapse prevention, couples therapy, stress management, codependency, infertility and the treatment of trauma, anxiety and depression. Dana completed her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of MN-Twin Cities, and her Master’s Degree at Alverno College in Community Psychology and is licensed as a Professional Counselor and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. Past clinical experience includes both inpatient and outpatient settings at Rogers Behavioral Health, the Benedict Center, Cedar Lake Counseling and Lifestance. In her free time, Dana enjoys CrossFit, running (usually with her dog Louie), snowboarding, spending time with her family and live music.

Interests: Playing guitar and other assorted stringed instruments, collecting rare and classic vinyl records, ear-splittingly loud music, boating, hiking, reading, social issues, baseball, football.
